After weightlifting for two years and CrossFitting for nine months, I was struggling with balancing the ability to gain muscle and get lean. I had tried a couple of programs but despite my commitment, my body stayed the same and I knew I needed to cut fat to improve my abilities. I decided to try StrongFigure coaching and working with Stephanie changed my life! I did a 12 week program and everything was personalized to my specific needs. During those 12 weeks, I lost a clothing size and gained 10 pounds on my squat, deadlift, and snatch. I was also able to do a strict pull up- a goal I had been working towards for two and a half years!
Tori’s knowledge of food and exercise has been the key factor in my success, helping me to make gains and reach goals that I never thought possible. She has held me accountable (which I need) in a positive and encouraging manner. I look forward to her feedback each week and I have no doubt that I will continue to build upon the foundation she has helped create. I cannot wait to see more changes and improvements as I get better and better at managing my macros.
Stephanie takes a well-rounded approach to health coaching! She taught me how to structure my eating in realistic ways and combat discouraging thoughts with positive affirmations. She was encouraging to work with and such a great health coach!
Since meeting with her one on one I have not only increased my daily energy but also greatly improved my recovery time, endurance during workouts, and overall strength! She is an excellent coach and I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to improve their nutrition no matter how much you may or may not know!
I have tons more energy. I don't feel out of breath when I carry my grandson. I can see muscles in my chest, arms and abs. I sleep like a rock. And, those annoying hot flashes that I was having 3-4 times per night, have completely stopped. I feel good about the way I look. I know I didn't gain fat, I gained muscle...which makes me happy. Also, love the workouts! My hub has worked out with me EVERY SINGLE time!
I am finally in a good place in my life in terms of health. I've learned more about protein, carbs and fats and how to balance them, as well as how to read labels to understand what makes a protein, a carb and a fat. Now I'm feeling more satisfied and I'm getting stronger now and I can do three strict pull-ups! Stephanie made things easy for me to understand and made me feel like I was doing great even though there were days I wasn't doing my best because of life, schedule, kid, dogs, husband. But she is relatable, understanding and supportive. I am so thankful to know her and have her as a coach!!
